A garden wedding
Celebrate your special day at The Leaf, Canada's Diversity Gardens, where everything wonderful grows. Second-floor event halls overlook the gardens, with the Tropical and Mediterranean Biomes available seasonally as well.

Passed and stationed bites to open your cocktail hour, prepared with quality ingredients and elegant presentation. Starting from $27 per dozen.
All plated dinners include assorted rolls with butter, seasonal vegetables, starch, and freshly brewed coffee and tea. Entrées starting from $34 per person; starters from $8.
Chef’s Table buffets include assorted rolls, two salads, two sides, two entrées, a vegetarian entrée, dessert, and coffee and tea, starting from $68 per person. Chef-attended carving stations and interactive late-night stations (from $17 per person) bring the party to a close.
Signature tortes, sweet table enhancements, and interactive dessert stations. Tortes starting from $65 each, enhancements from $37 per dozen, and dessert stations from $10 per person.
Professional cash or host bar service includes bartending, juices, soft drinks, garnishes, ice, and glassware. Host bar drinks starting from $8, wine by the bottle from $41.

Yes. Outdoor ceremonies can take place at the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden (106 seated or 150 standing) or in The Leaf's outdoor gardens, the Kitchen Garden (200), Performance Garden (200), Johnston Family Seasonal Garden (150), and The Grove (250+), available seasonally from May through October. The Leaf also hosts private and semi-private indoor ceremonies inside its glasshouse biomes. Share the flow you have in mind and the events team can help you pair a ceremony setting with a reception venue that fits your date and guest count.
Reception Package options start at $22 per person for assorted sandwiches and fresh fruit, $32 per person for sandwiches, a vegetable tray with buttermilk dill dip, and a cheese tray, or $39 per person for sandwiches, a vegetable tray with buttermilk dill dip, assorted dessert slices, and fresh fruit, each with a minimum of 30 guests. Plated dinner entrées start at $34 per person, and Chef's Table buffets start at $68 per person. Every Reception Package venue rental also includes an easel and guest book table, plus a riser at The Leaf. At Gateway to the Arctic, catering on top of the venue's $25-per-person Zoo rental is either a Casual Fare menu (hot dogs, hamburgers, and vegetarian hot dogs with condiments, bagged chips, ice cream sandwiches, and canned soft drinks) at $26 per person, or passed hors d'oeuvres (9 pieces per person) at $32 per person. All pricing is in Canadian dollars, plus GST, PST, and a 15% gratuity, and Gateway to the Arctic's final menu and pricing is confirmed with catering 90 days prior to the event.
Gateway to the Arctic weddings come with full Visitor Services and animal care staff on-site all evening. For The Leaf and The Pavilion, ask the events team about staffing and bar service for your preferred date.
